BEFORE YOU ASK, YES I HAVE TRIED: 
The patcher, uninstalling and reinstalling and uninstalling windows essentials 2017.

It simply gives me the error of  "configuration does not specify hook type or specified hook type is invalid. Cant load switcher."
Will try to check back often for help, thanks if u have responded and sorry if im unable to read it atm!! <3!!
