Hello everyone, here's a tutorial on how to install Messenger (up to 7.5) on CrossOver.

First of all, create a new Bottle. Name it whatever you want.
Download Escargot from the website (a pre-patched version is what we're gonna use today).
Install Messenger the usual way ("Unlisted Application").

Install "Microsoft XML Parser (MSXML) 3.0" onto your Bottle.

After that, install winetricks using Homebrew (brew install winetricks).

Right-click the bottle on the left panel, press ⌥ Option key and click on "Open Shell".

Now you have to type in the following command:

export WINEPREFIX="[your path]"
Replace "Your path" with the path you get when you open the C: drive and go up one directory.

After that, do winetricks corefonts gdiplus msls31 riched20 riched30 tahoma.
(this might take a while)

And there you go!
